Amaircare Chem Bio Airwash System
The Amaircare Chem Bio Airwash System was designed because of the new Chemical and Biological dangers. The Chembio Airwash downdraft HEPA sorting station for use in secured rooms in conjunction with proper masks and gloves for maximum protection from possible threats.
The ChemBio Airwash is a HEPA filtration system that creates a down-flow of air on a sorting surface, that leads directly into two HEPA filters which each has 100 ft. of.HEPA paper. Possible particulate hazards such as Chemicals or Bio-Matter are forced into the HEPA filter. The clean air out can be ducted to create a negative pressure in the room
For maximum protection, items should be directed to a sealed room with a ChemBio Airwash system in use. Any items would be inspected and/or opened directly on the ChemBio Airwash’s downdraft HEPA sorting surface.
Using Amaircare®’s Dual-HEPA design, they each employ two high-efficiency motor/fans and up to 200 sq. ft. of HEPA for 99.97% removal efficiency of particulates 0.3 microns and larger. They also employ a variety of available V.O.C. filters for removal of chemicals gases.

Three-Stage Filtration:

The Amaircare® ChemBio Airwash system is designed to be used in any situation where biochemically suspicious material is handled. For maximum protection, items should be directed to a sealed room with a ChemBio Airwash system in use. The operator would use latex gloves and appropriate masking.
How to use the ChemBio Airwash:
Turn the unit on High.
Allow the motor to reach maximum speed, maximum air intake will result at the DOWNDRAFT HEPA SORTING SURFACE.
Place the MATERIAL to be opened or inspected on the DOWNDRAFT HEPA SORTING SURFACE.
Proceed with opening or inspecting MATERIAL.
When completed - Turn the unit to low (it will continue to clean the surrounding air).
If any unknown, foreign, or suspicious substance has been detected, follow COMPANY PROCEDURES, secure the sorting area, and CALL AUTHORITIES IMMEDIATELY.

EnviroSept Electronic Air Cleaner Polarization Technology makes the EnviroSept the Ultimate Dust Collector! It removes over 99% of all particles as small as .001 micron in size! Customized Gas and Odor Control The GCX Series is IQAir’s highest capacity air cleaner range with customized filters for specific gaseous contaminants and odors. Just like a professional gas mask, IQAir maximizes filter efficiency for different gases and odors by offering the right filter cartridge. And while gas and odor control are a particular strength of these systems, the GCX Series also offers excellent filtration efficiency for particles.
The main difference between the GCX and its smaller sibling the GC is, that the GCX contains 25 lbs. of gas phase media while the GC Series contains 12 lbs. In addition the GCX Series features larger pre- and post-particle filters. As a result the maximum air delivery of the GCX is about 20% higher than that of the GC.
Gas Cartridge Technology Each IQAir® GCX model contains four reusable filter cartridges with up to 25 lbs. of gas phase media. A wide range of differently formulated cartridges are available to maximize the filtration efficiency for different types of gaseous contaminants. Since IQAir® gas filter cartridges are reusable, replacing them is not only economical, but also environmentally friendly.
High-Efficiency Particulate Filtration The particulate filtration GCX units complements the gaseous filtration process by removing over 97% of particles before they can reach the gas phase media. This increases the efficiency and life of the media by preventing its pores from clogging. The GXC units' overall filtration efficiency for particles is 97% at .3 microns. Customized Gas and Odor Control The GCX Series is IQAir’s highest capacity air cleaner range with customized filters for specific gaseous contaminants and odors. Just like a professional gas mask, IQAir maximizes filter efficiency for different gases and odors by offering the right filter cartridge. And while gas and odor control are a particular strength of these systems, the GCX Series also offers excellent filtration efficiency for particles.
The main difference between the GCX and its smaller sibling the GC is, that the GCX contains 25 lbs. of gas phase media while the GC Series contains 12 lbs. In addition the GCX Series features larger pre- and post-particle filters. As a result the maximum air delivery of the GCX is about 20% higher than that of the GC.
Gas Cartridge Technology Each IQAir® GCX model contains four reusable filter cartridges with up to 25 lbs. of gas phase media. A wide range of differently formulated cartridges are available to maximize the filtration efficiency for different types of gaseous contaminants. Since IQAir® gas filter cartridges are reusable, replacing them is not only economical, but also environmentally friendly.
High-Efficiency Particulate Filtration The particulate filtration GCX units complements the gaseous filtration process by removing over 97% of particles before they can reach the gas phase media. This increases the efficiency and life of the media by preventing its pores from clogging. The GXC units' overall filtration efficiency for particles is 97% at .3 microns. The post filter is electrostatically charged to trap particulate pollutants and microorganisms (bacteria and viruses)

Higher air flow rate
The airflow rate is higher since there is no gas filtration in this device. A gas filter would reduce the air flow rate and add to filter replacement costs and it does not provide any infection control benefits. Professional Control Airborne Particulates
The IQAir® Cleanroom Series has been designed specifically for the removal of airborne particles. The systems feature the highest air delivery and longest filter life of any IQAir particle filter system. To allow for maximum air delivery the systems contain no gas phase filtration. The Cleanroom Series provides a choice of 2 models, each with a specific filter efficiency and air delivery profile. While healthcare facilities may require higher air delivery to achieve optimum control of microorganisms (e.g. in ICUs or TB isolation rooms), a cleanroom facility may need a filtration efficiency of 99.97% to meet strict manufacturing regulations or standards.
Positive and Negative Pressure Environments
Each IQAir® Cleanroom system can be used as a recirculation device or it can be combined with IQAir's ducting adapters InFlow W125 or OutFlow W125 to create positive and negative pressure environments. The creation of negative pressure helps to contain harmful particles, such as microorganisms, in a particular area (e.g. TB isolation).
The creation of positive pressure helps to protect clean areas from contaminants entering from adjacent rooms (e.g. protective isolation of immuno-compromised patients, controlled environments for medical device manufacturing).
Decentralised Airborne Infection Control in Health-Care Facilities
Airborne pathogens in health-care environments pose a particular risk to immunocompromised patients who may inhale fungal spores, bacteria and viruses. Airborne microorganisms can not only complicate recovery from surgery, but can also lead to life-threatening infections,costing health-care services hundreds of millions every year.
Hospital-acquired aspergillosis for example has been recognised increasingly as a cause of severe illness and high mortality in immunocompromised individuals, e.g. patients undergoing chemotherapy and/or organ or bone marrow transplants. In the light of the marked increase in nosocomial infections over recent years, many of which are caused by drug-resistant pathogens, the importance of using high-efficiency air filtration systems beyond the confines of so-called “critical areas” (such as operation theatres) has once again been emphasised. Both the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), advise that, wherever possible, preventive infection control measures should be implemented to reduce the risk of nosocomial infections.

The IQAir® Dental Pro is a dental room air cleaning system. It is designed to be placed anywhere in a dental office and clean the air by constant recirculation within the room.
The IQAir Dental Series units are based on the IQAir GC design and contain filter cartridges, which optimize them for the pollutants found in dental offices. The post filter is electrostatically charged to trap particulate pollutants and microorganisms (bacteria and viruses). The neutral white and light grey design integrate perfectly in all dental offices.

Customized Gas and Odor Control The GC MultiGas is compact and customized for specific gaseous contaminants and odors. Just like a professional gas mask, IQAir maximizes filter efficiency for different gases and odors by offering the right filter cartridge. And while gas and odor control is a particular strength of these systems, the GC Series also offers excellent filtration efficiency for particles.
Gas Cartridge Technology The MultiGas uses four reusable filter cartridges to hold up to 12 lbs. of gas phase media. The cylindrical shape of these cartridges allows for optimum contact between the air and gas phase media, which ensure high removal efficiencies. The large surface area of the cartridges enables high air flow rates. Since IQAir gas filter cartridges are reusable, replacing them is not only economical, but also environmentally friendly.
High-Efficiency Particulate Filtration The particulate filtration GC units complements the gaseous filtration process by removing over 97% of particles before they can reach the gas phase media. This increases the efficiency and life of the media by preventing its pores from clogging. The GC units' overall filtration efficiency for particles is 97% at .3 microns. The post filter is electrostatically charged to trap particulate pollutants and microorganisms (bacteria and viruses)

Here’s How It Works...
Most indoor particles that are airborne tend to be positively charged. Negative ions will give some of the particles a negative charge. The positive and negative particles then combine with each other, become heavy and fall to the ground.
These irritants can cause various symptoms of discomfort and allergic response. Many of these are invisible and are present in small quantities. But, consider that the average person takes 20,000 breaths per day and spends 90% of his or her time indoors. Placing a SpringAir within the environment could mean breathing easier for the entire family.
Overall, the American Lung Association recommends that proven source control strategies be employed as a primary means of reducing exposure to pollutants. However, physical studies which do not measure health effects do show that certain air cleaners are effective in removing certain indoor air pollutants. Thus, as an adjunct to effective source control and adequate ventilation, highly efficient air cleaners can be useful in further reducing levels of certain indoor air pollutants. More research on the health benefits of air cleaners is needed to provide complete evidence that would better address the circumstances of intended use.
Based on the limited available data, we conclude that if allergen sources are present in a residence, air cleaning alone has not been proven effective at reducing airborne allergen-containing particles to levels at which no adverse effects are anticipated. Cats, for example, generally shed allergen at a much greater rate than air cleaners can effect removal. Dust mites excrete allergens in fecal particles in sequestered environments (i.e., within the carpet or the bedding). For individuals sensitive to dust mite allergen, the use of impermeable mattress coverings appears to be as effective as the use of a laminar flow air cleaning unit above the bed. Source control should always be the first choice for allergen control in residences. However, using the coverings in conjunction with an air cleaner may increase the effectiveness of the products as well as the comfort of the individual.
The reality in most residences is that total elimination of a pollutant source is not always possible or practical. Individuals with severe allergy and asthma symptoms, whose symptoms are not alleviated by other source control and ventilation strategies, may want to try an effective air cleaner in an attempt to aid in further exposure reduction. Although there is no proven health benefit from such a measure, some individuals report that they perceive air cleaners as useful in improving their health status.

High-Efficiency Particulate Filtration The particulate filtration GC units complements the gaseous filtration process by removing over 97% of particles before they can reach the gas phase media. This increases the efficiency and life of the media by preventing its pores from clogging. The GC units' overall filtration efficiency for particles is 97% at .3 microns. Gas Cartridge Technology The IQAir GC Chemisorber uses four reusable filter cartridges to hold up to 12 lbs. of gas phase media. The cylindrical shape of these cartridges allows for optimum contact between the air and gas phase media, which ensure high removal efficiencies. The large surface area of the cartridges enables high air flow rates. Since IQAir gas filter cartridges are reusable, replacing them is not only economical, but also environmentally friendly.

The 10.0 Flushmount Air Cleaner is designed to drop into a suspended ceiling. It replaces either 1 - 2’ x 4’ tile or 2 - 2’ x 2’ tiles from the suspended ceiling. In order to install the PR10.0 flushmount easily the clearance above the suspended ceiling needs to be at least 13" and is recommended that the air cleaner is installed in areas that do not exceed a 13 foot ceiling height. The weight of the system does not rest on the ceiling grids but is secured above the suspended ceiling to a permanent structure such as a joist or beam. All filters on the 10.0 Flushmount are accessible from the louvered door and hinge door on the face of the system. 1 unit recommended for every 1000 square feet.

The main difference between the GCX and its smaller sibling the GC is, that the GCX contains 25 lbs. of gas phase media while the GC Series contains 12 lbs. In addition the GCX Series features larger pre- and post-particle filters. As a result the maximum air delivery of the GCX is about 20% higher than that of the GC.
Gas Cartridge Technology Each IQAir® GCX model contains four reusable filter cartridges with up to 25 lbs. of gas phase media. A wide range of differently formulated cartridges are available to maximize the filtration efficiency for different types of gaseous contaminants. What are VOCs ?
VOCs are carbon based airborne chemicals released by common household products.
The EPA has found that the levels of these compounds are 2 to 3 times higher in indoor air.
The studies showed that the levels may be as much as 1000 times higher during use of these products and higher levels may persist long after use.

The Allerair 5000 DS air purifiers feature a unique tar-trapping pre-filter that grabs larger particles and tar, and it also extends the life of the HEPA filter. Thi unit also features a micro-wrap filter to deal with small particles as small as the fine cigarette ash, an 18 lb carbon bed which allows more chemicals, gases and odors to be absorbed.

What are VOCs?
VOCs (volatile organic chemicals) are carbon based airborne chemicals released by many common household products. The EPA has found that levels of these compounds are 2 to 3 times higher in indoor air, and studies have shown that the levels may be as much as 1000 times higher during use of these products. Stored products also emit VOCs.

The P1000 air sterilizers are designed to be placed on the floor, in a vertical position.
Do not place the sterilizer under or on furniture, behind curtains or blinds or on thick carpeting.
Always keep the air sterilizer on.
Recommended time for 90% microorganism reduction is 2 to 3 weeks. (Results may be noticed after 1 week)
Install 1 Airfree per each 450 or 550 sq. ft. area with a wall height of 8 ft.

How to use Airfree air purifiers
The P2000 air sterilizers are designed to be placed on the floor, in a vertical position.
Do not place the sterilizer under or on furniture, behind curtains or blinds or on thick carpeting.
Always keep the air sterilizer on.
Recommended time for 90% microorganism reduction is 2 to 3 weeks. (Results may be noticed after 1 week)
Install 1 Airfree per each 450 or 550 sq. ft. area with a wall height of 8 ft.
For the best results, keep the sterilizer plugged in the same room.

What is ozone?
Normal oxygen is usually found in the air as O2, or a stable molecule of two oxygen atoms. When excited by ultraviolet light or electricity, oxygen can form ozone, or O3.
In the upper atmosphere, free-floating oxygen absorbs ultraviolet light from the sun to create ozone. In the lower atmosphere, ozone can also be formed naturally during lightning storms.
How does the Suraki GBA-200 create ozone?
There are two types of artificial ozone generators: UV light and Corona Discharge.
UV LIGHT ozone generators work by passing air over an ultraviolet light bulb, simulating ozone production in the upper atmosphere. UV light generators require the replacement of costly UV light bulbs.
CORONA DISCHARGE ozone generators work by passing air across an electric field. This method is generally considered to be more effective than the UV light method of ozone generation, and the parts more durable and reliable. The ozone production of corona discharge units usually exceeds that of UV light units.
The Suraki GBA-200 uses the corona discharge method of ozone production, allowing its compact size while remaining effective in areas up to 300 sq. ft. |
